One of my favorite games right now is the board game Apples to Apples. I recently started playing it last year when my Uncle brought it over for Thanksgiving. I usually don’t have the patience for board games, but Apples to Apples is simple, and to my surprise very entertaining. The game is played by the judge selecting one card from one deck and dealing cards from the other deck to the players. The object of the game is for the players to select the best card from their hand to match the word on the card selected by the judge. While the concept of this game makes for hilarious pairings, and lots of laughs, my favorite part is that brings everyone together. My family and I spent hours sitting around the table playing it last Thanksgiving, and I have even convinced my friends to start playing it as well.
